Transforming Africa Initiative is a charitable group, implying that our capacity to reach out to those whose needs we constantly strive to meet is a function of your contributions.
We have a number of projects running that need your donations in order to continue running. These projects, outlined below, are making a great difference to lives of locals. Please join in the transformation process by giving towards one of the projects below
The TAI Government Secondary School hostel renovation campaign
In this feature campaign, we need a total of 50, 000 GBP in order to renovate a number of hostel accommodations that are in very bad shape at government secondary school Otukpo. For more about the hostels and the school please visit the page about Government Secondary School Otukpo where you will find some images taken of the school compound and the dilapidated hostels that we are aiming to repair. It is sad that these hostels continue to be used even in the very state that they are in at the moment. Please click the select amounts you are willing to give and click the “Donate” button below. Many thanks!
The TAI Secondary schools scholarships fund
Under this initiative, launched in 2015, we sponsor and cater for educational needs of less privileged members of society within the communities we are operational. Please visit our TAI scholarships page for details of past awardees of this scholarship.
The TAI microfinance initiative
Under this scheme we support local women who are into small to medium scale businesses with short term loans to increase their trading capacities. You can help support one of these very enterprising women who are working very hard to provide for their families. I contributing to this fund, you help empower a local beneficiary of this great initiative. Please visit our microeconomic theme page for details.
The TAI health and skills development campaigns
Under this initiative TAI addresses prevailing health needs and skills gaps in local areas through advocacy campaigns and skills development workshops targeting youth in adopted communities. Some examples of campaigns we have executed include the yearly HIV awareness campaigns and the TAI youth development events.
